Finally UnderwayBAM Analytics officially started this past weekend when the New Palestine boy's basketball team began their season @ Greenfield-Central on Friday night and @ Westfield Saturday Night. The Dragons split on the weekend, after they defeated conference foe GC 75-65 on Friday and lost to Westfield 73-63 the following night. Against Greenfield, junior guard Maximus Gizzi led the team with 27 points. The following night, junior forward Dawson Eastes led the squad with 29 points and 14 rebounds in the loss against Westfield. The Dragons warm up before their clash with Westfield. These are the averages through the first weekend of the season. It is too early to make any conclusions about a players efficiency, given its only been two games. Regardless, Gizzi and Eastes have been the Dragons best players through two games. True has been the most efficient plater on offense, followed by Gizzi, Eastes and Roudebush. Hook, King and Walker have been the least efficient. Gizzi accounts for nearly 29% of the Dragons assists on the year. Walker has a staggering 91.4% turnover rate. Hook and Romine also have relatively at around 36% and 38% respectively. True leads the team in true-shooting % with nearly 64%.
