We have continued to meet with Mrs. Amones and her New Palestine Junior High resource classroom over the last two weeks. On our first of those two visits, Mrs. Amones suggested that since Luke and I are both Pizza Hut employees, that we bring in ingredients and make pizza's with the kids. The experience went off without a hitch and we were able to make delicious pizza for all of the students for lunch. Each student got a personal pan pizza, and we added sauce, cheese, pepperoni and sausage and then baked it in the classroom oven. It was a fun way to work on cooking skills with the kids in a group setting. Dewayne helped me carry the pizza bag back to the classroom. Each of the students takes turns making their pizza with the ingredients they want. In addition to our normal work with the class, Grace V., Avery B., and Victoria C. from the Dream Day project asked Luke and I to tag along on a guys day with Cam, Kameron, Dewayne and Dylan. We went to McDonalds for lunch and then went to Main Entertainment and spent the day at an Arcade. We all had a great time! Dewayne and I spent the majority of our time playing a Zombie game. Being the competitors that we are we ended up beating the game in it's entirety before the afternoon was over. All in all, it was a really great experience. We now buckle up for our final two meetings and our final day with the class will be the final week of school at our Bradford Woods field trip. Dewayne and I slaying Zombies in the Walking Dead Game.
